For probably 6 or 7 years now my nephew Jeremy Willis and I have talked about making an Uncle Nephew album, an idea so disturbing that even I'm not sure about it, and last Monday we finally got around to taking a crack at it, aided and abetted by Dan Shook, who contributed the second verse, some melody lines on guitar, and some really exceptional vocal stylings. And that's Jer channeling Johnny Cash on the first verse and playing rhythm guitar, and me on bass and the elderly bridge- the first Travis-Shook-Willis composition!
